We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join us and provide comprehensive support to a busy barrister. The ideal candidate will have a passion for litigation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the barrister with case preparation for hearings, trials, and appeals
  • Conduct legal research
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence
  • Organize and manage eletronic case files, ensuring that all documents are up to date and filed correctly
  • Liaise with solicitors, courts, clients, and other parties involved in cases
  • Be the direct contact point for clients and new business
  • Attend court hearings and take notes as required
  • Manage deadlines and coordinate the barrister's calendar and commitments
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in litigation
  • Strong knowledge of legal research databases and litigation processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,)
  • Ability to work independently
