SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with an exciting two-form entry primary school based in the borough of Richmond currently looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position is due to start immediately and on full-time basis until the end of the academic year with an opportunity for a permanent contract for September 2025. The position of Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant is paying a daily rate of £85.00 to £105.00 per day based on experience.
As a Teaching Assistant in this school your role will be to work in the early years foundation stage and support the classroom teachers of Nursery and reception classes by helping supervise students in the classroom, work with children on an individual, small group or whole class basis. You will be required to ensure students are making regular progress and promote positive behaviour. This is a general teaching assistant position.
To be shortlisted for this Early years Teaching Assistant role, you will need to have:
- A level 3 early childhood diploma or higher OR experience in Early years
- Good organisational skills
- Understanding of Phonics
- Patient with a sense of humour
- Confident in working independently or in a group setting
- Enjoy working with students and aspire to be a primary teacher
