Senior Quantity Surveyor

South London

My client a Top tier developer is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the procurment of the first phase of one of their flagship schemes in South London which is a major consisting of a 1000 units on a large brown field site.

Set across a couple of phases the project will be the largest Residential project in South London.

Essential

· Exceptional and proven leadership experience and skills.

· Ability to communicate across all levels both internally and externally, both written and verbally.

· Demonstrate the ability to work dynamically and overcome potentially unforeseen situations solving problems swiftly and efficiently.

· Fantastic knowledge of all areas of budgeting/forecasting, procurement, and Contract Administration.

· Clear understanding of what good looks like, best value and the ability to control costs throughout all areas of the development process.

· Have strong supply chain relationships and influence

· Credible, and influential in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders

Desirable

· Proven track record with a London based Developer or Main Contractor.

· Experience of mid/high rise, traditional and P/T, concrete frame residential construction with both onsite and offsite manufacture techniques.

· Experience in complex projects with overlapping phases and critical paths.

· Received/been involved in award winning construction projects.

Experience

· To have worked at a sufficient level of a medium or large construction company/developer.

· Have good experience in the residential & main contractor sector demonstrating stable employment history.

· The person will need to have had experience in cradle to grave delivery working through the full production cycle
