Job Description:
As a Maths Teacher at Heston Commuinty School, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4 students. You will play a key role in developing students' understanding, skills, and love for mathematics, while also preparing them for exams and ensuring they reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Prepare students for internal and external exams, ensuring they achieve their best results.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • Support the pastoral care of students and contribute to their personal development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum at [Key Stage/GCSE/A-Level] level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
  • Experience in using a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.

Desirable Attributes:
