About Us:Academics are currently looking a Science Teacher for a permanent role we currently have available in a school based in Richmond. Academics are currently partnered with a vibrant and supportive school, dedicated to nurturing the next generation pupils. The role involves teaching students across KS2 and KS3 the Science curriculum and ensuring they have a full understanding off the content across the subject.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons across KS2 and KS3.
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring inclusive and accessible lessons.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages scientific inquiry and curiosity.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners.
- Participate in the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student progress.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science at KS2 and KS3, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- Passionate about Science and inspiring students to achieve their best.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- A commitment to your own professional development and continuous improvement.
