Store Manager | Outdoor Sports Retail | £40,000 | independent store |South West London

We are recruiting a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Store Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work in a founder led brand with an independent retailer, selling some of the industry's best brands. As the Store Manager, you will be supporting the founder, leading the store. You will play a pivotal role in creating an extraordinary shopping experience for customers, while also motivating and empowering our team to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities of a Store Manager:

  • As the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our store.
  • Reporting directly to the founder, you will lead and inspire a team of dedicated individuals to achieve outstanding performance and exceed retail sales targets.
  • Your primary focus will be on creating an exceptional environment that not only delights our customers but also fosters a strong sense of community within the local area.
  • Collaborating closely with your team, you will actively contribute to the growth of the store by implementing effective sales strategies and consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Managing sales and finance, including P&L reporting

Experience and background:

  • Minimum of 3 years retail experience in either store management or senior management
  • Working within a fashion or sports environment, and have a passion for outdoor sports
  • Currently managing KPIs and budgets to improve their current store performance
  • Has a track record of driving sales and performance
  • Good experience with managing change within a business
