Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to support students with diverse learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students in the classroom.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Support students in their social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure effective communication and progress tracking.
  • Help prepare teaching materials and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferably as a Learning Support Assistant).
  • Strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting learners.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
