SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary and Secondary SEN School – Full time or Part time)

A happy, thriving, oversubscribed and growing special school for children and young people aged 4 -19 with severe and complex learning difficulties including those with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or physical/sensory disabilities. The school is committed to supporting all of our learners to achieve and enjoy and be stimulated and challenged to fulfil their potential. Our well qualified and dedicated staff have high expectations of their learners, and have the highest expectations of ourselves.The School are looking to recruit for a number of Teaching Asssitant vacancies across their Primary and Secondary site

The school curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the learners and remains flexible so the school can provide bespoke learning opportunities. The staff brings a wealth of experience and through our academic, social, and therapeutic curricula, supporting learning for all. With the support of the Auriga Academy Trust, we can work with colleagues to ensure our learners have access to a wide range of specialists.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience working within Special Needs Schools desired but not essential

-          A passion for the progress of Primary/Secondary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team

-          Proactive, Engaging, passionate approach to working with SEN pupils

-          Candidates with Care background, encouraged to apply
