GSL is looking for a SEN Teacher

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team in your borough of choice. With a pay rate of £145 - £230 per day, this role is perfect for a passionate individual looking to make a significant impact on students with special educational needs.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student. You will develop and implement effective learning plans, create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, and work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for your students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver individualised lessons as an SEN Teacher.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet each student’s needs.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and other professionals.
  • Assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Manage and support students with diverse learning and behavioural needs.

To be considered for this SEN Teacher role, you must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification. Experience working with children or young people in an SEN setting is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting student development, are essential. A current enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for a new one is required.
