A SEN school located in Richmond is looking for an enthusiastic and established Speech and Language Therapist to join their welcoming team. This will be on a full-time basis as fixed Maternity cover. The successful Speech and Language Therapist will have paediatric experience ideally within schools and should have a HCPC recognised Speech and Language degree, newly qualified Speech and Language Therapists are welcome.

The Speech and Language Therapist will be split across both the primary and secondary sites and will work closely with education staff to create a communication friendly and specialised working environment. The Speech and Language Therapist will be responsible for assessment, development and implementation of specialist Speech and Language Therapy provision, to a caseload of pupils who have a diagnosis of Autism and additional needs.

As well as working alongside senior SaLT’s the Speech and Language Therapist will complete assessments, train others and want to improve their own clinical skills to help the development of students.
