Working Hours 45 hours per week, 7.00am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursday, 3.00pm Fri.
NIGHT SHIFT POSITION
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for a well-established, leading Builders Merchants in the Darlington region. The ideal candidate will have experience as one of the following within the builders' merchants' sector: (although it is non-essential as full product and procedural training will be provided)
- Yard Assistant / Yard operative
- Warehouse experience within any related building materials / trade sector.
- Forklift Truck experience
As a Yard Operative / Yard Assistant you will be part of a tight knit team within a large branch environment. The role will involve an element of manual handling, as well as using relevant equipment to load and unload deliveries, to maintain a tidy and safe working environment. Full training will be provided upon starting with the company.
Customer interaction with committed customer service is also a major part of the position in general, so a pro-active approach and positive attitude will be required at all times.
