Seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a finance team for a fast-growing construction company based in Rickmansworth.Your new roleThe successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the company's outgoing transactions, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and efficiently. This includes managing the entire invoicing process, from receiving and verifying supplier invoices to ensuring they are correctly coded and authorised. Additionally, you will handle the reconciliation of supplier statements, promptly resolving any discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. This role is a temporary position with a high potential to become permanent should they find the perfect fit for their team.What you'll need to succeed
- Experienced purchase ledger clerk able to deal with large volumes.
- Motivated with a positive 'can do' attitude.
- Must be accurate, methodical, with an attention to detail.
- Have the ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines.
- Team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Construction industry experience would be an advantage.
