Sonic Summary

Gotpeople is partnering with a rapidly expanding Engineering company to find an experienced CNC Turner for their CNC Turning department.
The role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC Lathes, preferably with Mazak machines.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of engineering drawings and the ability to machine various materials to tight tolerances.
The position offers a full-time salary of up to £45,000, which is negotiable based on experience, along with overtime pay at time and a half.
This is a temp-to-perm position, with the opportunity for a permanent contract after a qualifying period.

Gotpeople are working with a fast expanding Engineering company and due to the expansoin of their CNC Turning dept they are seeking an experienced CNC Turner for an immediate start:-

Duties will include:

Programming, Setting and Operating Mazak CNC Lathes.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 4 years CNC Turning experience of programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes.
Ideally experienced with using Mazak machines / Mazatrol controls but not essential as training can be provided.
A very good understanding of engineering drawings.
Ability and knowledge of machining a range of materials to tight tolerances.
Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
Previous experience of working in a similar sub contract manufacturing environment is preferred.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm - Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm.

Due to the site location own transport is desired. Full time salary is up to 45K (negotiable and DOE) Overtime @ time and a half.

This is a Temp to perm position, chance of a permanent contract after qualifying period.
