Mortgage Compliance Officer - Rickmansworth

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

BDM Recruitment is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Administrator or Mortgage Compliance professional. Join a well-established, independently owned mortgage broker based in Rickmansworth and contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding client service and maintaining high compliance standards.

The Role:

As a Mortgage Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and regulatory compliance of mortgage application processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing mortgage cases to ensure compliance with Financial Network and FCA regulations.
  • Conducting advisor risk assessments and fraud prevention evaluations.
  • Preparing and delivering suitability letters for clients.
  • Submitting accurate client information and documentation to mortgage lenders.
  • Analysing declined applications and maximum loan decisions, supporting brokers to find client solutions.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years of experience in a mortgage administration or mortgage compliance role.
  • Familiarity with mortgage processes, financial networks, and FCA compliance regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A confident telephone manner and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in mortgage advising, finance, or administration are advantageous but not essential.
