We are looking for a talented and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering innovative and cost-effective design solutions for our clients in the water treatment industry. Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the Engineering Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Electrical and Automation Design: Create comprehensive and cost-effective designs for Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (EICA) systems that align with client specifications and can be smoothly procured, installed, and commissioned.
  • Design Documentation: Prepare, review, and validate all design-related documents, including specifications, schedules, drawings, and calculations, ensuring they meet the required standards and accuracy.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all design work complies with CDM Regulations and industry best practices, prioritizing safety and regulatory adherence throughout the process.
  • Standardization and Efficiency: Implement standard design methodologies and practices wherever applicable to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects.
  • Project Coordination: Manage the delivery of design outputs for each project, ensuring they are completed within the agreed timeline and budget, and coordinate effectively with other technical disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with construction teams and supply chain partners to promote efficient design execution and support project buildability.

About You:

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
  • Chartered or near-chartered status in a construction-related discipline, commensurate with the role's level
  • Experience in the water treatment industry
  • A solid understanding of CDM regulations and construction health & safety practices
