Our client, a successful and well respected independent Estate Agent in Rickmansworth are looking to expand their team with a Trainee Sales Negotiator. This is a fantastic opportunity where the right candidate will be rewarded with 'one to one, on the job training'.The company want to give the successful candidate the chance to learn the specific role of a Trainee Sales Negotiator with a clear career progression to eventually become a senior part of the management team. The team are fun yet hardworking and have an incredibly low turnover of staff which speaks volumes about the company as employers.The role includes the coordination and carrying out of viewings, handling enquiries and maintaining excellent communication between viewers, vendors, solicitors and the office team. The role is to ensure the smooth, effective management of the selling process for all parties as well as working to secure excellent sales targets.With training, the role will require the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, have excellent presentation, good business winning skills and a strong customer-focus. The role also requires the confidence and skill to build trust and rapport with all clients and customers.You will need to hold a full UK drivers licence.Benefits and salary package of the Trainee Sales Negotiator include:

  • Basic £16,000 to £18,000
  • OTE £20,000 to £25,000
  • Government pension scheme opt in available
  • Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm with every other Saturday 9am to 4pm, but Thursday's off when worked a Saturday
  • Support and costs paid for the relevant qualifications and career development
  • Use of own vehicle at the mileage rate of 45p per mile

After training the key responsibilities of the Trainee Sales Negotiator will include:

  • Coordination and administration of all sales enquiries
  • Excellent implementation of sales viewings
  • Structured management of feedback and follow up for all viewings
  • Maintenance and upkeep of all office sales documentations and administration
  • Identify new business opportunities, generating quality leads and instructions
  • Ensure all financial targets are met and exceeded monthly
  • Comply with all relevant legislation relating to anti-money laundering
  • Ensure all parties receive a professional, efficient, friendly and personalised service
  • Assist the Lettings team with enquiries and viewings if needed

Skills required for the role of Trainee Sales Negotiator include:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • All round team player
  • Confident spoken and written communication skills
  • Computer literate - specifically with the ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Some previous agency experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Natural selling ability that can be developed
  • A full and clean UK driving licence
