Who we are

My client is seeking an experienced General Manager for a family run Indian Restaurant. The General Manager must be able to curate, energise and engage with the front of house team and work closely with the Head Chef to deliver an exceptional 5* dining experience.

Our team will encourage and suggest dishes that will make your meal, a homely, soulful experience. Voted the "Happiest place to live" this role would be perfect for a General Manager or Resturant Manager who has at least 5 years experience in a similar role, willing to relocate or take on a new callenge and progress in their career.

  • Proven Leadership experience in a Michelin-starred restaurant or 5-star hotel.
  • Strong Organizational and communication skills, with expertise in curating memorable experiences
  • A solid understanding of Traditional and modern Indian

The Role

  • Coordinate daily FOH & BOH restaurant operations
  • Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Ensure statutory compliance and Health & Safety across the business
  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
  • Detailed reports/weekly/monthly & annually
  • Train new & current employees on customer service practices to deliver a 5* dining experience

Requirements

Fluent in English Language and writing

Extensive background in food & beverage, Indian food ideally (but not essential)

Acute financial management

5 year experience in Hospitality management (Culinary school is a plus)
