HR Manager (ER and Ops)

We are supporting a leading organisation in their search for a HR Manager (Operations) to join them on an FTC until November 2025

This role will suit a HR Generalist with strong operational and Employee Relations experience.

Salary £53.000 +£5k car allowance

Location Rickmansworth

Please note, this role is based on site 5 days a week

The role

  • Provide comprehensive advice leading on complex cases through working with managers and on managing employee relations matters such as performance, grievance, flexible working, family leave, and disciplinary
  • Work collaboratively with the HR managers in handling a high-volume ER caseload. Offer advice on ER issues and ensure cases are handled consistently and in line with legislative requirements. Share view points to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Be a leading role delivering redeployment programme, Completing complex redundancy consultations for those who may be displaced in line with process and legislation, minimising risk of claims.
  • Being part of the team by coaching and mentoring our junior members of the team. Supporting the specialist wider team with Training and Development

Your background:

You will have demonstrable experience of working at a HR Manager level (ideally hold a CIPD level 5 or equivalent- or working towards) with experience from full spectrum ER, coaching and training stakeholders to delivering HR projects including redeployment/restructuring programmes.

You'll have strong communication skills, be a strong collaborator and relationship builder with effective stakeholder management skills.
