Where you'd be?
This exciting opportunity is with a leading UK Garden Centre Group. In this centre, you'd be part of a small, dedicated team focused on helping customers create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. They're seeking a proactive, self-starting individual to support the current manager and take ownership of their own small outdoor section.
What you'd be doing?
As the Gardening Supervisor, you'll take ownership of maintaining high standards of customer service, team performance, product quality, and display upkeep. You'll manage your own small outdoor section, with responsibilities including stock management, product ordering, and stepping up to handle the manager's duties in their absence. This role is ideal for someone eager to take on responsibility, demonstrate initiative, and make a tangible impact by ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
What they'd need from you?
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong leadership skills and a good eye for stock presentation are essential. As this is a predominantly outdoor role, you'll need to be prepared to deal with the glorious English weather. The job also involves physical tasks such as heavy lifting, so the ideal candidate will be willing and able to carry out these duties.
