An ‘Outstanding’ Primary School in Rickmansworth are looking for a Reception class Primary Teacher to work full time or part time on a job share in their Reception class to start from as soon as possible, Easter or September.

The school is a 2 form entry Primary School, in their most recent Ofsted inspection they were graded an ‘Outstanding’ School.

 

‘Behaviour is excellent around the school. Pupils are friendly, respectful and interested in visitors. Their good manners are impressive. In class they work hard and listen. Pupils’ achievement is excellent. All groups of pupils make outstanding progress in reading, writing, mathematics and information and communication technology (ICT). Pupils reach at least average, and often above average, standards.’

 

If the right fit for the school there is an opportunity for the role to become permanent. The ideal Primary Teacher will have recent experience of teaching in EYFS/KS1 and will take on the full role and responsibilities of a reception class primary teacher where planning, preparation and assessment will be expected. The classes are of average size and the class is supported with a full time teaching assistant. There will be dedicated PPA time and there is also room for career development throughout the school.

The minimum requirements for this EYFS Reception Primary Teacher position are:-

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • QTS or equivilent
  • EYFS/KS1 Experience
  • 2 Years’ worth of references
  • A current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
