1 x Early Years Practitioner Level 2 or 3

1 x Room Leader or Senior Practitioner

We are currently looking for enthusiastic staff at our fabulous, outstanding independent children's day nursery and preschool.

We will continuously invest in our staff to ensure they receive ongoing support, training, quarterly supervisions, annual appraisals and offer a career path with genuine long term growth and stability.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a real passion for developing young minds, who as well as bringing their own experiences to the Nursery, are eager to develop their knowledge base with continued learning.

We have two NEW roles and are currently looking for a full time Senior practitioner or Nursery Room Leader L3 or higher, and one Full time Nursery assistant/practitioner. Either L2/L3 or unqualified, who has some previous experience in nurseries/childcare) who is keen to train and learn and develop a career in the early years.

Ideally we are looking for someone to work 4 or 5 days per week between the hours of 7.30-6pm, but we can happily discuss hours, as we appreciate our staff and a work life balance is important.

Key skills and duties:

Most importantly, to have energy, enthusiasm, empathy, a sense of adventure and fun! :)

  • Help with the planning, creative and fun opportunities according to children’s needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS. (Full training and support is provided for candidates looking to start their childcare career)
  • To develop good strong relationships and communication with children parents/carers.
  • Working creatively with children so they develop, learn and grow.
  • Ensuring all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.

Key skills:

  • Hold a relevant Early Years qualification equivalent to Level 2 or above (desirable - Full training and support is available )
  • Experience of working with the EYFS/Early years foundation stage.
  • Experience of working with children in an early learning environment
  • Good communications skills
  • A team player :)
