  • The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, with Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm, and one Saturday off per month with a day off in lieu for every Saturday worked.

Our client, a successful and well-respected independent Estate Agent in Rickmansworth are looking to expand their team with a Lettings Negotiator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone will ideally 6 months previous experience, as there is really great opportunity to progress in your career. The team are fun yet hardworking and have an incredibly low turnover of staff which speaks volumes about the company as employers. The successful candidate will require the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, have excellent presentation, good business winning skills and a strong customer-focus. The role also requires the confidence and skill to build trust and rapport with all clients and customers. You must have a full UK driving licence and ideally access to your own car. Benefits and salary package for the role of Lettings Negotiator include:

  • Basic £18,000
  • OTE £27,000 - £30,000
  • Government pension scheme opt in available
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm and Saturdays 9am to 4pm - 1 Saturday off a month but a day off in lieu for every Saturday worked so a 5 day working week
  • Support and costs paid for the relevant qualifications and career development
  • Use of company pool car or use of own vehicle at the mileage rate of 35p per mile

Responsibilities of the Lettings Negotiator position include:

  • Always delivering exceptional customer service
  • Liaising between landlords and tenants
  • Providing up to date advice and information
  • Property inspections
  • Conducting viewings
  • Booking appointments
  • Negotiating lettings contracts
  • Registering applicants
  • Generating new business
  • Listing new properties
  • Building the market share
  • Be up to date with current compliance and legislation

The skills required for this Lettings Negotiator role will include:

  • Ideally 6 months previous experience
  • A high level of customer service skills
  • The desire to work well in a team, and independently
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Drive, hunger and ambition for success
  • Well-spoken with a good telephone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Well presented and professional
  • Target driven with a 'can do’ attitude
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and own your own car
