Construction Recruitment Consultant/Senior Recruitment Consultant - Hertfordshire - £30,000-£50,000 basic + comms

Our client is a leading recruitment agency specialising in the construction and property sectors. Based in the heart of Rickmansworth, they pride themselves on their deep knowledge within the field and exceptional level of service holding one of the most credible reputations in the industry.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry and a passion for helping clients find the best talent. This role offers a chance to expand a lucrative area of the business and leverage a strong, focused client base (warm desk). You will have a balanced mix of support and autonomy to manage your desk, handle the recruitment process, develop and maintain client and candidate relationships, and work closely with other consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their recruitment needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify and engage with top talent in the construction sector through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Recruitment Process Management: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and market conditions to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates.
  • Business Development: Actively seek new business opportunities, build a pipeline of potential clients, and contribute to the growth of the recruitment division.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous recruitment experience within the construction sector is ideal but my client is willing to consider applicants with proven recruitment experience in another sector.
