Supply desk are currently seeking an English Teacher for work within a fantastic school in the Rickmansworth area. English Teachers are crucial in the development of our next generation. We are proud to be servicing the local area of Hertfordshire with the best in teaching talent.
The Role:
- A resourceful individual that will encourage pupils’ to reach their full potential
- Creating, administering, and grading assignments, quizzes, tests, and exams to evaluate student progress and understanding.
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons in grammar, literature, writing, and reading comprehension.
- Being able to cater for any SEN pupils within your classroom
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
- Assessing student progress and being creative with lessons.
- Maintaining open lines of communication with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and behavioral issues.
- Offering additional help and tutoring to students who struggle with English concepts.
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
Requirements for the Role:
- Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
- Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent
- Able to provide two years’ worth of employment references
- You will be required to work confidently with Key Stage 3-5 pupils.
- Able to commute easily to Hertfordshire.
