Field Engineer – QCS & DCS Systems

Our client are a world leader in Smart power, systems and robotics. They are seeking a service engineer with experience of QCS and DCS systems to join their ever growing team, the role would be based from home and provide onsite support to customers across the UK. The client are recognised as Top UK employer.
Key Responsibilities – Field Engineer – QCS & DCS Systems
- Prepare and present reports following site visits and in additional a monthly report for allocated sites.
- Provide High level field and in house technical support, including out of hours support.
- Fulfil Service Agreement obligations
- Provide application support and software troubleshooting to customers, on site and by remote dial in.
- Advises clients as to maintenance procedures, evolution, site planning, operational methods, process measurement and control.
- Flexibility to travel to sites anywhere in the UK for above activities in addition to primary areas of responsibility.
- Prepare and write technical reports for internal and external use.
- Promote sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advise Sales department of possible sales leads.
- Assists Sales and Account management with preparation of quotations.
- Commission equipment in the field as part of the project team.
Qualifications & Experience – Field Engineer – QCS & DCS Systems
- Degree or HND in Electrical or Measurement & Control Engineering.
- Clean Driving Licence (UK).
- Self-Motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Demonstrate excellent customer focus.
- Good networking skills.
- Results orientation.
- Knowledge of Paper Industry
- Commercial awareness
