About the Role:
CRS are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fabricator to join a team at a busy sawmill in Gretna. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in fabrication and maintenance work, looking for a stable and rewarding position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication tasks, including cutting, welding, and assembling metal components.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on sawmill machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance fabricator role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in welding, cutting, and metal fabrication.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to health and safety practices.
