What will the Accountant role involve?

• Preparation of full management accounts, including insightful commentary for board meetings.• Year-end statutory compliance and client liaison.• Cashflow forecasting and financial planning.• Attendance at board meetings alongside senior leadership.• Tax planning and advisory involvement, including restructuring input.• Interaction with HMRC, VAT and Stamp Duty matters.• Opportunity to work on complex group structures and high-value transactions.

Suitable Candidate for the Accountant vacancy:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.• Strong understanding of both financial and management accounting.• Comfortable presenting financial information at board level.• Proactive and inquisitive, with a commercial mindset.• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients.• Tax planning knowledge highly desirable.• Trusts, restructuring and property sector experience beneficial but not essential.• Confident in learning new areas with the support of an experienced team.
