Accountant

What will the Accountant role involve?

• Preparation of full management accounts, including insightful commentary for board meetings.
• Year-end statutory compliance and client liaison.
• Cashflow forecasting and financial planning.
• Attendance at board meetings alongside senior leadership.
• Tax planning and advisory involvement, including restructuring input.
• Interaction with HMRC, VAT and Stamp Duty matters.
• Opportunity to work on complex group structures and high-value transactions.

Suitable Candidate for the Accountant vacancy:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
• Strong understanding of both financial and management accounting.
• Comfortable presenting financial information at board level.
• Proactive and inquisitive, with a commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients.
• Tax planning knowledge highly desirable.
• Trusts, restructuring and property sector experience beneficial but not essential.
• Confident in learning new areas with the support of an experienced team.
