Part Time Accounts Assistant Job in Ringwood

Our successful and thriving privately owned retail-based client are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Part Time Accounts Assistant to join their team. As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and maintaining accurate financial records. Your primary role will be to support daily financial operations, including processing invoices and assisting with payroll activities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment. There is future training and career development opportunities for the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for incoming paperwork
  • Matching CMJ invoices to store copies
  • Working through CMJ statements to work out the RFC or payable invoices
  • Checking CMJ invoices are stocked into bransom correctly
  • Chasing stores for outstanding invoices
  • Invoice coding - Generals/CMJ/Pandora invoices
  • Preparing banking sheets, log petty cash and complete cashbook
  • Filing all paperwork and organising filing system

Minimum Experience Required:

  • Knowledge of basic accounting and invoicing principles
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information.
  • Effective organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
