Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with our client who are now looking for a Factory Assistant as they have a long-standing member of staff retiring.

The Factory Assistant/Machine Operator will work within a well-established factory environment that assembles sheets of paper into catalogues and books.

You will be physically fit, able to work the rotating shifts and ideally have a driving licence as you may be asked to undertake a small amount of van driving. If you have a forklift truck licence that would also be ideal but not essential.

You will also have good attention to detail and be willing to learn. Full training will be provided but if you have any knowledge of the print industry then that would be advantageous (but its not essential)

Responsibilities

  • Operate bindery machinery and equipment
  • Work with the factory manager to maximize product output
  • Remove and inspect finished products from the machine
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
