Food Technologist Job in Ringwood

Dovetail Recruitment are excited to be working with a creative client in the Ringwood area who are looking for a new Technologist to join their team. Duties & Responsibilities of the Technologist:

• Ensuring and managing the Compliance, Safety and Quality of all products
• Overseeing product specifications
• Producing and managing product risk assessments for the development of new products
• Ensuring products pass all legal and customer required testing
• Management of our quality control and product inspection processes
• Support in the creation of accurate and legally compliant nutritional and product description labels for all food products we supply worldwide
• Management of any customer complaints
• Logging, management and evaluation of all product related data within the business, and reporting (where appropriate) to internal and external stakeholders
• Keeping apprised of all relevant toy safety and food safety legislation and reporting to the business

Salary & Benefits:

• £30 – 35,000 per annum
• Private Health (currently with AXA PPP) with additional optical and dental benefits, doctor at hand (remote doctor appointments), full mental health and full MHD (medical history disregarded). Dependents are also welcome to join the scheme at the employees own cost.
• Cash Plan (currently with the EXETER One Fund) which gives additional funds to access non-GP referred therapies, optical, dental etc as well as covers the PPP excess.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience within a product compliance / quality role or as a Technologist
• Understanding of PIF documentation
• Well organised, with attention to detail
• Experience of working within the food industry or toy industry
• Own means of transport and driving licence

This Technologist role would suit candidates who have experience within the food industry or who have had some experience with toy safety.
