An exciting opportunity has arisen within a newly created Project Manager role for our Ringwood based client. As leading experts in their field, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager with exposure to either the construction / fire & safety industry.Whilst head office is based at Ringwood, the successful Project Manager may be required to attend site meetings (full drivers licence required) and work remotely / hybrid as well. You will be a dynamic, confident individual, happy to work as part of a team, whilst playing a crucial part in managing projects and driving the business forward. Key responsibilities of the Project Manager: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of installation and maintenance projects, specifically centred around fire doors / associated products and services. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards while maintaining excellent client relationships. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role requiring a proactive individual with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple projects from planning to completion, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing excellent service and clear communication.
  • Work closely with office teams, site staff, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
  • Conduct monthly site and / or client calls, ensuring work is progressing as planned and addressing any issues.
  • Provide leadership and support to site teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Bring new ideas to improve efficiency, processes, and service delivery.
  • Be highly visible and accountable, taking full ownership of project outcomes.
The successful Project Manager will have the following experience / skills:

  • Proven project management experience, ideally from either the construction, fire or safety contracting space.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workloads efficiently.
  • Excellent teamwork and independent working skills.

  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with a desire to take ownership of projects.

  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to quickly learn the job role.
