Customer Service Advisor (Insurance)

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Location: Ringwood, Hampshire

Hours: 37¼ hours per week Monday - Friday (between 9.00am - 6.00pm)

Our client is seeking a dynamic and professional Customer Service professional to join a thriving team in Ringwood, Hampshire. As a leading broker in the non-standard home insurance market, they're committed to providing exceptional coverage to customers with complex needs.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will engage with customers, providing expert guidance to ensure their needs are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a consistently positive experience.
  • Manage new sales enquiries via email or inbound calls.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments, adhering to established processes.
  • Administer policies and respond to enquiries via telephone, email, and online chat.
  • Provide accurate product and underwriting information to empower customers to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain professional standards in all aspects of work, including conduct, timekeeping, and attendance.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards, call quality benchmarks, service standards, and company policies, with a focus on treating customers fairly.
  • Effectively assess customer needs and present advice clearly and accurately.

Skills/experience Required as a Customer Service Advisor:

  • Previous experience within an office based customer service environment.
  • Experience within the financial services sector highly desirable, but not essential
  • A professional attitude with exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to influence and persuade others
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • A positive and adaptable attitude
