Due to our client growing substantially over the last few years, they are now looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their experienced team.

They are looking for someone who can build and lead a finance department. Full training for the right candidate, with ongoing support will be given. A competitive salary with additional benefits is also on offer.

What we need from you as a Finance Manager:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a financial role
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Proficient in accounting software (ideally Xero)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with a drive and determination to get things done
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate a practical approach when faced with problems or challenges
  • Excellent timekeeping, reliable and trustworthy
  • You must live within 30 miles of the office - BH24 3PB

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Taking charge of accounts receivable and payables and dealing with related queries by phone/email
  • Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to the Managing Director
  • Managing quarterly VAT return process
  • Working with our external accountants to ensure all submissions are made in a timely manner
  • Overseeing End to End finance operations
  • Working on financial analysis
  • Doing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Making improvements to procedures and controls
  • Analysingcosts and pricing, sales results and the companys actual performance compared to the business plans
  • You will report directly to the managing director

Training is offered within the role to be able to fully support all their customers to a high standard

Salary/Hours: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum. Hours:9.00am to 5.00pm - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour week.
