Bond Williams are pleased to be working exclusively to recruit a UK Head of Finance for an international group with a UK office in Ringwood. This is an exciting new opportunity that has come about through recent and planned growth over the next 5 years and would be a great move for an ambitious Qualified with a strong technical background and some international exposure.

Reporting to the UK Finance Director, you will be managing a small team but this team increase as the business develops.
Specific responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of the finance team
  • Review management accounts for the UK subsidiaries under UK Gaap and IFRS
  • Financial reports and analysis for board review
  • Promote reliability of the accounts by complying to deadlines, procedures, standards and internal controls
  • Preparation of quarterly statements
  • Oversee tax returns and liaison with European tax manager
  • Liaising with statutory auditors
  • Establish and monitor KPIs
  • Consolidation of UK results into the wider group
  • Treasury: cash management control for all UK subsidiaries and liaise with European depts
  • Drive the UK budget planning and quarterly and monthly reviews and reporting including identifying risks and trends
  • Assisting with the financing process for projects and M & A
  • Some travel - approx 4-6 times per year
  • This is primarily an office based role but some flexibility is offered to occasionally work from home if needed


Suitable Candidate

  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience in a Top 10 practice or as FC in a corporate setting with strong technical skills
  • International experience would be ideal but not essential
  • Strong Excel skills essential/SAP experience an advantage
