REED are actively recruiting for a School Business Manager based near Wimborne. This is a varied role, essential is previous experience within a Finance role. You should be able to work within a team, support colleagues, work to deadlines and be able to prioritise tasks.

Salary £36,000 - £42,000 per annum FT

Permanent or Temp (Depending on your availability)

52 weeks a year or 39 weeks (+ some work in the school holidays)

Role:

The School Business Manager will play a key role in the leadership of the school.

Reporting to the Headteacher and CFO, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the smooth and

efficient running of the school's administration, HR, finance, premises and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Office & Administration - Lead the admin team, ensuring the day-to-day running of the school is efficient

and effective, developing use of the school MIS and other systems as necessary

• HR & Payroll - Manage recruitment, staff contracts, HR policies and information for payroll.

• Financial Management - day to day financial and resource management including credit control

• Compliance & Governance - Ensure the school meets all statutory and safeguarding requirements

including Health & Safety.

Other Responsibilities:

• line management of Catering; Maintenance; Transport; outsourced IT support

• Events management & Clubs Support and develop events, fundraising and summer clubs
