Trainee Picker Packer | £24,000 | Ringwood

Purpose

As a Trainee Picker Packer, you will be a key member of a supportive, close-knit team, within a family run business, playing a vital role in the day-to-day manufacturing, ensuring the highest quality of service is delivered throughout.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity with an immediate start and for the right candidate, this could lead to excellent advancement opportunities and the opportunity to gain a wealth of experience within the warehouse environment.

Flexible Hours

Monday to Friday: 6am-3pm, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm

Responsibilities 

As a Trainee Picker Packer, you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Picking and packing of products 
  • Unloading and loading HGV trailers and containers  
  • Palletising products, shrink wrapping and labelling products ready to be put away or dispatched 
  • Quality control checks to ensure orders are being dispatched correctly  
  • Using the computer system to dispatch orders, deal with delivery notes and handle stock management. 

Background

As a Trainee Picker Packer, you’ll have:

  • Enthusiasm and excitement to learn 
  • Advanced numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Previous picking and packing experience (although not essential)
  • A positive attitude to work and the drive to get involved where needed
