Sonic Summary

The Buyer / Assistant Buyer position focuses on construction materials for groundworks and civils in Ringwood, with a full-time on-site schedule from 8am to 5pm.
Candidates should possess advanced knowledge of various construction materials and a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, along with excellent communication skills.
Experience with the COINs procurement system is advantageous, but training will be provided.
The role involves raising material purchase orders, updating supplier pricing, and resolving invoice queries.

Are you the right person for the job?

Good Working Knowledge Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel)
The ability to prioritise and manage expectations
Excellent communication skills over telephone and email
Ability to communicate materials information to multiple departments
Knowledge of the COINs procurement system advantageous, though training will be given

Must have advanced knowledge of the following construction materials:

Concrete Road Kerbs & Slabs (Hard Landscaping)
Precast Concrete Drainage
Clay Drainage
Plastic Plot Drainage (Wavin/Osma & Polypipe/UG)
Insulation
Reinforcing Mesh and Bar
General Merchant Materials

Advantageous if Knowledge of the following materials:

Bulk Aggregates
Ready Mixed Concrete

What will your role look like?

Raising Material Purchase Orders in COINs System
Up-dating supplier pricing in COINs System
Liaising material delivery information to site contacts
Checking and competing supplier invoices
Completing invoice query resolution and liaising information with purchase ledger team
