The Senior Teaching Assistant (HLTA) position is located in Dorset and offers a salary range of £25,015.20 to £27,302.30, with a full-time equivalent of £29,120.00 to £31,782.40.
This is a permanent role requiring 40 hours of work per week, available only during term time.
Candidates should possess a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher, along with GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C or 4 and above.
Previous experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN), such as SLD/PMLD, ADHD, and ASD, is highly desirable.
The role includes responsibilities such as supporting student learning, facilitating engaging activities, and maintaining high standards of safeguarding and welfare.

Qualifications and Skills:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or 4 and above).
Previous experience working with SEN, SLD/PMLD, ADHD, and ASD is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Experience managing challenging behaviours and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
