Healthcare Talent are recruiting for a number of Support Workersto work for our client's supported livingservicesfor ad-hoc/agency shifts including 6 month block bookings. The client supports adults with autism, mental health, learning disabilities and brain injuries.
If you do not meet the essential worker criteria below,you will not be shortlisted:
- Currently working as a Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant
- Minimum 6months experience within the UK care sector
- Experience with learning disabilitiesand mental health
- Can work over 20 hours
- Is flexible to work both day and night shifts
- Available ASAP
As a Support Workeryou will work within a team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the units and in delivering person centred care in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence and well being.
The ideal candidates will haveprevious experience of working in a support livingsetting with a vulnerable client group. They must posses good communication skills and haveenthusiasm to learn and develop within this role. We believe that the compassion, understanding, and service we show each and every individual should be reflected in the way we all support, respect, and include every individual who works with us.
