Elevation Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a precision engineering company in Ripley to recruit a skilled CNC Miller.

Location: RipleySalary: £34,415.16 - £40,884.48Shift: Day shifts (early finish on Fridays)Overtime available

Role:

CNC Milling tight tolerance, complex components requiring a high level of precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines, including proving new programmes
  • Machining complex parts to strict quality standards
  • Working with a range of materials, including exotic alloys and hardened steels
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Conducting first-off and in-process inspections using workshop measuring equipment
  • Ensuring adherence to route cards and production schedules
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
  • Working closely with engineers and quality teams to resolve machining issues and optimise processes
  • Following health and safety regulations and company procedures
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Apprenticeship (or higher) in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience in a precision machining environment
  • Knowledge of multiple controls would be advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
