CNC Machinist
Location: Ripley, DE5 3ND
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 16.97 - 20.16 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: Minimum 39 hours per week

My client based in Derbyshire are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our team. This role involves working on high-quality, high-integrity components across various materials in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Machine precision components using materials such as nickel alloys, stainless steel, titanium, aluminium, and carbon steels.
* Program, set, and operate CNC machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Work to strict quality standards, ensuring components meet specifications right the first time and on schedule.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Follow route card instructions and complete all required documentation.
* Interpret complex engineering drawings and use measuring equipment effectively.
* Perform in-cycle deburring and routine maintenance checks on machinery.
* Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance productivity.
* Accurately log working hours (direct and indirect).
Skills & Experience
* Apprenticeship trained, time served, or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or higher).
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a precision machining role.
* Familiarity with multiple CNC control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mazatrol preferred).
* Experience in high-precision industries such as Nuclear, Power Generation, or Aerospace.
* Ability to work with various materials and tight tolerances.
Available Positions
We have vacancies in CNC Milling (up to 5-axis mill-turn) and CNC Turning, working with machines including DMG, Mazak, Toyoda, Okuma, Victor, and Correa.
