The position is for a Sales & Estimating Engineer with strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and experience in regulated industries.
The role focuses on providing tenders, quotations, and orders for complex components primarily in the UK Defence and nuclear sectors.
Candidates must have a background in a machining environment and experience in high precision sectors such as Aerospace, Nuclear, or Defence.
The job offers a permanent opportunity with a salary range of £40,000 to £45,000 and an ASAP start, working Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays.
Experience running machines on the shop floor, such as milling and/or turning, is required.

Primarily within the UK Defence and nuclear sectors in providing tenders, quotations and orders relating to complex components and assemblies
Being the single point of contact for designated customers and projects, ensuring all contracts are fulfilled in time
Maintaining good records through the company ERP system – Ensuring the status of tender opportunities is accurate. Also accurately capturing and inputting new sales orders into the ERP
Develop long term working relationships with customers.

Sales & Estimating EngineerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Must have a background within Machining environment
Experience within high precision/highly regulated sectors (Aerospace, Nuclear, Defence)
Must have experience running machines on shopfloor eg, Milling and/or turning
