About the Production Manager (Manufacturing) role:

Seeking a dynamic leader to drive production operations at our Denby and Little Eaton sites. Accountable for all aspects of liquids filling, batch manufacture, and injection moulding whilst ensuring compliance with ISO standards 9001, 14001, 22716, and 50001.

You will lead the development of people, plant, and processes alongside supporting an asset care strategy to ensure the plant delivers on all aspects of safety health and environment, quality systems, OEE, adherence to plan and plant reliability. You will also be accountable for driving the culture in the plant to align with the values of the business and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

The key responsibilities of our Production Manager (Manufacturing) will include:

  • Leading the plant teams to effectively utilise plant resources to deliver the production plans, on time
  • Ensuring customer expectations are met, whilst adhering to the non-negotiables of SHE and Quality
  • Responsible for P&L budget development and responsibility for managing all aspects of the manufacturing P&L budget for the site
  • Defining and delivering plant performance metrics to ensure manufacturing team goals and objectives are delivered
  • Responsible for the management of incident and injury investigations

Experience you’ll bring as our Production Manager (Manufacturing):

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Operations leadership role in a related industry 
  • Relevant engineering qualification. Minimum HND, preferred bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Experience of solving technical manufacturing problems using a data driven approach to root cause analysis
