An ambitious and experienced Project Manager is needed to oversee a £10 million new build GP surgery in Buckingham.
The project, which includes construction and internal fit-out of a three-storey building with 65 rooms, is set to start in early March and will last for 18 months.
Candidates should have a proven track record in managing design and build schemes valued up to £10 million, with a focus on healthcare projects being advantageous.
The position requires effective time management and will evolve into overseeing multiple projects ranging from £1 million to £2 million in value.

Ambitious/experienced Project Manager required to work independently reporting into the Construction Director on a 10m new build GP surgery in Buckingham, to manage the construction and internal fit out of the 3 storey new build block and care ward in total of 65 rooms. The project is on site in early March, and will consist of piling and steel frame.

This is an 18 month project over 2 phases, you will have sole responsibility of this project and will be expected to manage your time effectively. You will be mainly based in office with site visits expected. The role will develop more into managing multiple projects between the current 10m to lower value projects around 1m-2m.

About the Company/Client/Project:

The role is with the busy regional office of this national main contractor with an excess of 50m annual turnover, and a solid pipeline of work in the Hampshire, Dorest, Oxfordshire, Surrey & Berkshire area predominantly Healthcare, Automotive and Industrial sectors.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

You will ideally be an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record within a contracting organisation, able to deliver design & build schemes up to 10m in value. Key attributes will include excellent client, design team and site team management ability, technical, contractual and commercial knowledge, plus focus and drive.

Previous experience of working on large new build healthcare & care home buildings would be useful for this scheme.
