Our client is a tech manufacturing company within the security sector, who specialise within Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS) and Access Control Systems, they provide security through their products to sensitive sites worldwide.

Position Profile:

This role as a Technical Sales Representative is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company which welcome new and innovative ideas to drive success. As a Technical Sales Representative you will play a vital role in representing the company, driving sales and building relationships with customers, both existing and new.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site surveys to evaluate the project's feasibility, cost or maintenance requirements.
  • Present, promote, quote and sell products/solutions to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop and maintain B2B customer relationships.
  • Attend and present company solutions at trade shows.
  • Install, commission, service and maintain security systems.
  • Test new/updated products on their internal test site and provide feedback to R&D.
  • Approximately 70% of your time will be spent in-house and 30% in the field.

Position Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an Electrician or similar role.
  • Willingness to travel to meet prospects and customers (UK and occasionally abroad).
  • Comfortable with ethernet networks.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities (proficient with test meters or similar tools).
  • Comfortable using the Microsoft Office stack.
  • Driving license (Category B) and willingness to travel.
