Salary: £26,000

Location: Newton-Le-WillowsOur client based in Newton-Le-Willows is currently on the hunt for a credit controller to join the business. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to work in a team, working collectively to acheive monthly KPI's and ensure the ledger is kept to a minimum.

Main Duties:

  • Control and manage assigned customer accounts, ensuring Customer payments are received in a timely manner.
  • Issue Customer statements and invoices via email
  • Make and receive customer telephone calls minimum 20 outbound calls per day
  • Reply to Customer emails.
  • Assist in the resolution of customer queries to eliminate payment delays.
  • Reporting on debtors’ status / overdue accounts
  • Maintaining accurate records including Cashflow / Dispute Reports
  • Consult with other Centres to deliver a best-in-class service to Customers.
  • Assist with general admin duties within department.
  • Observe and comply with all company policies and procedures

Knowledge / Skills:

  • Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Positive, initiative-taking attitude to collections
  • Persistence and determination
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative to prioritise workload.
  • A team player
  • PC literate with experience using SAGE and Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
