We are seeking a Generator Engineer with an electrical qualification to join our clients dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical skills and a mechanical interest, looking to work in a hands-on environment. You will be responsible for the preparation, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of temporary power equipment for a range of events and projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for hire, ensuring readiness for deployment.
- Load and unload vehicles with hire equipment.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on hire fleet and customer equipment.
- Install and commission temporary power systems at event locations.
Essential Requirements
- BS7671 18th Edition certification.
- A full, valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- HGV license
- Forklift license
- Experience with generators or plant equipment
