If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Impression Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside a reputable and growing business in Ripon in their search for a Production Operative to join their team on a temp to perm basis. You will have varied duties the more that you become familiar with the role so that you can perform all tasks necessary to help production flow as smoothly and as efficiently as possible. Your Duties As Production Operative:
  • Run production equipment efficiently while following safety and quality standards.
  • Check the production process to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Safely pack and store products during the production process.
  • Work well with colleagues to meet production targets and ensure smooth operations.
  • Take part in training to improve skills and keep up with new machinery.
  • Carry out basic cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and safe production area.
  • Follow Health & Safety rules and report hazards to keep the workplace safe.
Skills Required: 
  • Previous experience working in Production / Warehouse / Manufacturing / Process Operative position.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and a motivated attitude.
  • Great attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
  • FLT license (advantageous but not essential).
  • Ability to follow general Health & Safety regulations.
In return, the successful Production Operative can expect to earn a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, working a 40 hour week on a shift basis that includes days and nights, and with overtime also available. Initially taken on as a temp, within 10-12 weeks you will be rewarded with a permanent contract (given the right amount of application and enthusiasm is shown).
