Design Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a specialist, North Yorkshire based manufacturing business building, bespoke, market leading equipment from raw material to finished product. 

Based at a cutting-edge engineering facility, you’ll have the unique opportunity to see your designs come to life. We’re looking for a talented Design Engineer to refine and develop our current and future product range, bringing industry expertise, innovation and a passion for development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create high-quality technical drawings that align with engineering refinements and future product specifications.
• Enhance and refine our existing machinery designs to improve functionality and performance.
• Contribute to the development of innovative products for our future range.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring and maintaining designs, ensuring they consistently exceed customer expectations.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team and suppliers to optimize component specifications.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in 3D design software, particularly Autodesk Inventor, Radan, and Bysoft. Training will be provided as needed.
• A strong understanding of product manufacturing processes, especially in sheet metal design.
• Enthusiastic and confident team player with excellent communication skills.
